Coming Back from addiction is not a one-size fits all solution. Repeated rejection as the individual’s new life takes shape provides a fertile ground for relapse. Learning how to BE in society and contribute when miss-use of medication and self-medication was the escape route, means massive modification of thought processes and behaviors. These have often been generationally ground in. So, not just ‘spoken about’ in group settings, these behaviors need to be modeled, and lived.

Jim can be engaged on a Fee for Service basis, where there are resources to support the engagement.
Endless Horizons Inc is the recipient of these fees and donations and they go to support access to these services by people who are disadvantaged.

Jim & his wife Neda have a passion for people. They believe in Connected Communities, Family and believe in the Institution of Marriage.
When a family is torn apart by addiction its irrelevant whether its a young person using or a parent using – the ripples of destruction and chaos are endemic and they can straddle future generations.
Families have often been divided and scattered. Children traumatized and parentalized, spouses brutalized and in cycles of empowering the addict to keep the peace, parents and grandparents ripped-off and living in fear.
When an addict reaches their Personal Pivot Point, their family circle is often devastated. It takes a huge leap of faith to want to engage for another round of potential damage and despair.
So that enabling mechanisms are not continued once sobriety is reached, the family needs active coaching to support a new dynamic. Enabling behavior has to be redirected into other behaviors that produce safer healthier outcomes for all concerned.
Helping people to reconnect and build back the connections of trust with family and friends, are a large part of Jim and Neda’s coaching activities.

Personal Mentoring
“One thing we know for sure is that Interventions don’t work” agree Jim and Neda. “You can’t make a person detox and stick to rehab and sobriety, unless they are ready – they just double down on the drugs and make-up for lost time!”
“Tough Love – letting them fall, is the only way they can hit rock bottom. This is when they CHOOSE to get sober. this is what we call their Personal Pivot Point“
If your child is “going off the rails” or you are concerned about this, then give Jim a call and let him help you put a framework around them.
